The epic period drama previously in production as the Orphan of Zhao is now in post-production with a new English title, Sacrifice. The final cut will soon be done and most likely it will be ready for the American Film Market in November at Los Angeles.
The main cast includes Ge You, Wang XueQi, Fan BingBing, Huang XiaoMing, Hai Qing and Vincent Zhou. The movie is produced by Cheng Hong and Qing Hong of Beijing-based Stellar Megamedia. The main plot of the movie is about the story of the sole heir to a powerful clan who is unwittingly raised in the household of the man who murdered his family. He’s also unaware that he is being groomed as an instrument of revenge by a benefactor whose family was slain by the same man.
